As someone who recovered from burnout and stayed in the same job where I burned out, I can relate to feeling disoriented on the other side of recovery! I love the feel of what you're doing here. Progress and authenticity over unrealistic attempts at perfection.
Hi there! I think I found you through the Sparkle on Substack group. I love your vision for your publication and can't wait to hear your stories and day in the life! I'm of the opinion that everything's better in Paris, but I wonder could even parenting be more awesome there? And of course, what deliciousness are you enjoying?
Hey! So excited to follow along on your newest adventure! Let's see, questions. I could think of many. How easy is it for a foreigner to find childcare (babysitters, daycare) in France? And are they good, hardworking, reliable, etc? Do you try to learn the local languages in each country you visit? Do you find it difficult or easy to meet locals?
Hi Cheyanne, delighted to have come across your post. I enjoy reading stories from fellow travellers and writers who have walked away from the nine to five routine, and are out there exploring new paths in life. My own lifestyle is rather unconventional. My husband and I sold our country property in Australia back in 2020 not long after Covid took hold of the world, and we have been travelling ever since. We get to spend long periods of time overseas thanks to house sitting. It's fun and we have met the most amazing people along the journey. I look forward to more of your posts in the future. All the best.

Yes! Exactly! You absolutely get it. 💕

Love the Sparkle on Substack group! And love the Paris questions. I’ll definitely weave them into the next post.

Hey! So many great questions. I’ll definitely weave them into the next post including my absolute failure at learning Portuguese 🫣
